April 1, 2013 To celebrate the comic book’s 30th anniversary, 20th Century Fox has optioned the graphic character GrimJack for a major film with the option of up to three sequels. Director Sam Mendes (Skyfall) has been signed to direct and negotiations are underway with three-time Academy Award Winner Daniel Day Lewis to play John Gaunt, the titular hero.
