Ben Affleck and Matt Damon are attached to produce Sleeper.
Warner Bros will adapt the sci-fi thriller comic series from DC Comics’ WildStorm imprint, reports Variety.
Shawn Ryan (The Shield) and David Wiener (The Killing) will write the script based on the comic series from Criminal, Fatale and Incognito creative team Ed Brubaker and Sean Phillips.
Sleeper centers around operative Holden Carver, who becomes unwillingly fused with an alien artefact that makes him impervious to pain.
He goes undercover in a criminal syndicate, where he falls for a member of the group and begins to question his allegiances.
